Support Self-Centering Steady Rests

In order to have a good functioning steady rest it's important a stable set up of your steady rest on your lathe.
The bracket for the steady rest should be built with welded plates and stiffening rib, the whole frame should be normalized.

The shape of the bracket depends on the working conditions:
- Clearance available
- The centerline of the lathe
- The steady rest is used fixed or travelling
- Mounting angle of the steady rest.

The mounting surfaces must be perfectly flat, to avoid deformations and perpendicularity problems on the body of the steady rest.
The steady rest must be perfecly centered on the centerline of the lathe, max error allowed 0.01 mm.
