All Morari's steady rests have the connection for pressurization (G1/8).
With pressurization you can lubricate the internal parts and avoid that chips or dust could enter in the body of the steady rest and damage it.
When steady rest is in open position, the air flow is automatically reduced to avoid air waste.
It' s possible to clean also the central roller housing, to use this option you have to remove the screw "G",that is behind the roller.
We always suggest to use pressurization (Air+Oil at 2 - 4 bar). The air have to be filtered (with condense exhaust) and mixed with oil (1 drop each 3 minutes with oil at 70 Centistok).

You can also use the steady rest without pressurization, there are drainage holes (R) on upper and lower surface of the body, we suggest to remove the lower screw to drain the coolant that could be entered inside the steady rest.
