When you don't have an automatic lubrication plant, the steady rest can be manually lubricated. We suggest to use grease type 2 NLGI - DIN 51818.
The lubrication frequency depends on working conditions, as general suggestion you have to lubricate at least from one time each 3 working hour to one time each 8 working hour.
It's possible to assemble the greaser in symmetrical position compared to the drawing below.
